It is happening already. I certainly know of a transitioning woman, who, when asked for a chaperone, got *another* cis man.

Mmm, maybe disgust and xenophobia is in there too, with a helping of narcissism.

Furthermore, since the SC ruling 25% of all trans women see themselves leaving the UK in the next 5-10 years. Many have had suicidal crises, and at least one has taken their own life. This is what fear *actually* looks like im a vulnerable population.

If you were to consider who is most afraid in these situations, it would be transitioned women, who by consequence of cis women's irrational fear, are made to change in front of great numbers of men.

Thankfully, my therapist is not registered with the UKCP, otherwise I'd have to find another one.

I think the incidence of DV and SV among all LGBT+ people is insanely high and not talked about enough. Services are often not set up for LGBT people, or downright exclude the demographic most in need of support.
