Control is a state/feeling, it's not a tactic/game plan/intent.
Really really looking forward to the Newcastle away game. True test of.......the quality of our project

Thought I'd give this a go on this app after some success over on X

🚨 I'm in a position to take some more freelance work on. Currently full-time with GIVEMESPORT, but do freelance work in various players including FotMob, StatsPerform, and a few others.

Analytical writing, data-led pieces etc

Trial and error ✅ Inferiority complex ❌

That's my principle. You control your own destiny; the outside world can only influence the quality of the delivery, not the whole thing

Unbearable watch, but I just love "ball possession teams"

I just love teams that want to play the ball..and play a pass at all costs

“So what do you think about Manchester City losing five games in a row?” #Redsky #LFC
November 23, 2024 at 9:02 PM
City conceded 3 fast break shots after the 60', two goals Spurs scored in the 2nd half came from those...
...or maybe the game was already dusted before that
- Ederson to Haaland/“input CF” has been cash money against m2m presses backed with really high line
- City concede the most fastbreak shots among the big 6 this season. Spurs convert the most fastbreak shots. Meal
- Both teams set piece routines are mid
- Spurs don't ever go long...

Spurs did far greater damage than I thought they will
Unlike Southampton though, Spurs can encroach the opposition block. Pep's gonna lose 2-1 on Sunday, more likely it ends like this if City go a goal up

Can we all agree, as a website, to not doubt this heavenly Ø-Saka relationship as aggressively please

1. If you check the players that were moved for £100m, you can get an idea of what should be prioritised
2. Solid defence+ midfield, weak attack...based on the overall quality of the players/profiles....is the go-to for squad building
Q1. Which is more important during squad building; DEFENCE, MIDFIELD OR ATTACK

Q2. Which is more preferable?

A - Solid midfield & attack + weak defence

B - Solid defence & attack + weak midfield

C- Solid defence & midfield + weak attack

Rayan Cherki is completing more dribbles per 90 (4.5) than any other player in Ligue 1 this season (150+ mins played). 🌪️

Ange's Spurs and Russell Martin's Southampton approach games against Pep's City differently from how other teams approach City (and probably generally how two big teams face each other); they don't have a midblock. Both coaches don't have a life without possession

A chart showing “Forwards who move your team closer to goal" should include involvement of actions in the place where you most likely gonna score (the box)
Dedicated a series to finding an attacker for Liverpool using data over the summer. Cherki made the final shortlist.
November 21, 2024 at 8:33 AM
Cherki can't play for a high pressing side.
It's easier to give wingers leeway with regards pressing intensity, but in a league where there's enough emphasis on blocking central access, you can't afford to have your No. 10 sleep on the job

Bluesky needs a verification system — what it doesn’t need is a monetization system.

Monetizing helped to ruin Twitter and it could feasibly do the same for this place.

People already spend 90% of their days trying to make a buck, they shouldn’t feel that same need when they come on social media.

It's the intangibles with all the three
Every profile has a replica(s), and no profile of player is indispensable. Squad building only deals in profiling. So yes, you can replace their profiles [Salah, VVD, Trent], but you can't replace the players.
