Well, if Trump really wants to deny it, there’s a simple solution: release all the files. Instead of filing billion-dollar lawsuits and having a thousand federal employees comb through a 100,000-page document looking for his name, he could just call for full transparency.

We have a rule of law and federal agencies and contracts are not to be capriciously withdrawn because the president took personal offense at a governor.
The way Trump spoke to Maine's Governor Mills at a group of governors sounded like a Mafia shakedown.
Afterwards, revenge and retaliation began: "Emails show that the Social Security Administration canceled contracts with the state of Maine as political payback against its Democratic governor.
According to emails obtained by Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.), the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, Social Security staff informed Dudek that canceling the contracts “would result in improper payments and potential for identity theft.”
Dudek told his staff to go for it.
“Please cancel the contracts. While our improper payments will go up, and fraudsters may compromise identities, no money will go from the public trust to a petulant child,” Dudek wrote."
This is tyranny.
If you don't stand up for the rule of law now, any governor can be next.
Congress has allowed Trump to usurp its power of appropriations too long.
I ask you to conduct oversight, investigate and censure presidential overreach, overturn the emergency declarations and tariffs, and bring and try charges of impeachment against Trump, Dudek, and all involved in Signalgate.
Please reply in writing to let me know whether you intend to honor your oath to uphold and defend the constitution.

At DOJ, we used to call these “for profit prisons” and when BOP or a state used them, those inmates were still considered to be in the custody of that prison system for relevant legal purposes. There is no reason El Salvadoran terror prison should be any different.
And when are we going to start talking about the fact that the United States is paying El Salvador to use the prison!
