I’m pretty sure Gertrude doesn’t really care about the migrants as much as she NEEDS her food, medicine, and housing.
Our government has spent $100,000 a person to hold migrants at the Gitmo concentration camp for less than six weeks. That's about $17,000/week for each migrant. They could have stayed at a Ritz-Carlton for that.
