So.
I've counted. My work is worth about $70 at cheapest prices.

I'm giving it away for $6.

And as always, I've included something new, so this one also includes my previously-unpublished novella Campus Creatures.

Happy Pride 💜 I love you all.

Sorry, but no. He only led the Catholic Church! And as much as I respect him, he is not the head of all Christendom. Of 2.5 billion Christians, the pope was the leader of ≈ 1.6 billion. That’s hardly all. (It’s also interesting to note that ALL of Christendom is only ≈ 1/3 of the world population
Pope Francis did not represent "progressive Christianity". He represented *actual* Christianity.

Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.

Opportunities are everywhere.

Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Don’t take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are 📉

I know that for me & many of my brothers & sisters, today marks a low point in our society.

As I meditated on MLK, I see that we already have the map 4 peaceful resistance & a path to justice. These words ring true regardless of political stance.

What about Joe-mentum?

Wait… that was in 2000, and he was a Democrat then.
I'm seriously having trouble thinking of an elected Jewish Republican with any kind of power in the party. No senators. Are there any governors? Senior House figures?

For a while there the GOP had Eric Cantor as its top official in the House but he was primaried out a decade ago.

GenX checking in from the 1980s. All you have to do is watch Eddie Murphy: Raw to get a vibe for how “othered”people quickly became. I think even Murphy himself apologized and recognized the damage it caused.
It became a witch hunt where you didnt even have to identify as queer-if you stood out in ANY WAY you were open season and at Louisiana Catholic schools most administrations WELCOMED IT.
We had a suicide nearly every year at mine.
And yes the administration blamed the kids every. single. time.
Hello everyone, class of 2000, checking in.

Unless you were there, you have no fucking idea how homophobic high school was back then. Violence in the open, often with teachers and administrators having the attitude of "what did they expect?" This is a very hard thing to have done in 1999.

“Walz's pro-LGBTQ+ record goes back much further than his time as governor. In 1999, he sponsored the first gay-straight alliance at his high school while working as a teacher.”
