I'm guessing a ton of those "faith leaders" are also "faith healers."

They claim to cure cancer, diabetes, regrow limbs . . . a faulty connection is child's play for God.

Why didn't they just "declare" the phone line fixed "in Jesus' name?" (speaking in tongues, of course)

(📢) This is an ASK ME ANYTHING (AMA) post—my first one in over a year, I think.

Ask me any question, on any topic, and I will answer it honestly.

(The only rule here is that you have to retweet this post before you ask your question, so that there will be at least _some_ audience for the answers.)

Right now in the privacy of your own space . . . do the Nazi salute and feel how unnatural and awkward it is.

It's not something a US brain in 2025 should be capable of doing naturally.

I'm sorry, but I've never seen someone get so excited that they inadvertently made a Nazi salute.

It's a VERY distinct and DELIBERATE movement -- flat hand, stiff arm snapped sharply upward.

If you were born after 1940, there's no way you could it accidentally.

Great email marketing coaching with @rezzz.com today . . . one hour unclogged a ton of sludge.

If you need any guidance on email -- he is your guy.

BTW, according to Perplexity AI, he was also a Senior Executive at Universal Studio LOL!

This week, my daily newsletter dives into the real cost of "free" software—open-source vs. commercial. Today, I share why I swapped an open-source tool for a premium service to save time & headaches.

I don't think most people realize that they have full access to the #ChatGPT 4-turbo model on their #Apple devices with the latest update.

I'd love to know how much $ per minute OpenAI loses when it's down.

How does this repo only have 13 stars?

Don't tell me you're still writing commit messages by hand.

<Pastes 200 lines of error logs in ChatGPT>

500ms later, ChatGPT says "Ah, I see the issue."

I don't think I'll ever stop being amazed.

There's an awesome line from @pattonoswalt.bsky.social 's 2007 stand-up special . . .

"We made cancer airborne! You're welcome! We're science -- we're all about 'coulda' not 'shoulda.'"

Swap "science" with "AI" and and it perfectly sums up the current reckless lack of accountability.

Each time I have sat down to write something since the election, I am bothered by this recurring phrase that I simply cannot get out of my head.

So, this week I am going to just say it out loud: we are on our own. www.democracydocket.com/opinion/we-a...

Every once in a great while, I feel a VERY slight tinge of guilt when I ask AI to write something and then ask it to completely re-do it.

Even the best coders traditionally saved proper logging, error handling, etc. util AFTER they got the core functionality working.

Even the, they often "didn't have the time" to do it at all.

With AI coding tools, I'd like to think this behavior is a relic of the past.
