Also, because you (don't) care; I've been looking for a copy or an image of an ad Vaughn Bode (he of Cheech Wizard fame) did for a defunct record label WAYYYY back. All I remembered was that it featured an album by Eric Dolphy ("Iron Man"). I first saw it 20 years ago.

NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:
- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged

Black thinkers & activists have been saying the same thing for more than 150 yrs: the rights, laws, & programs passed by Congress are meaningless if white Americans remain unwilling to enforce them.

Thing is, I wasn't really all that invested in the Dodger-Blue Jay World Series. I like Vladdy Jt, and as a hockey fan, it's hard for me not to feel bad for Canadian teams who fall short. But then ONE MAN opened his fucking mouth, and I couldn't abide that.

My wife watches NCIS: Origins (which I guess is their origin story?) and when they introduce Young Ducky, the song plays in the background. She couldn't wait to tell me about it.
Every now and then I remember that Ducky from NCIS (David McCallum) made the song that "The Next Episode" (and lots of other songs) samples from and chuckle.
