I’m sure I speak for everyone with a lifelong history in nature in saying just how big of an influence Goodall had on me as a child, she was one of the people who formed my earliest idea of what a zoologist should be. She will be dearly missed.

The term "asp" is actually a shortening of "Asperger's", a reference to the fact that every venomous snake is on the spectrum. The latter term has fallen out of favor in recent times but nobody wants to tell the snakes due to their vibes and venom.
