i have come to the conclusion that to do this, i will need to disassemble and combine parts to create an amalgamation of my old NAS and current NAS, and it will no longer be rack mountable . this somehow solves a bunch of issues but also creates like 2 new ones
troubleshooting some homelab stuff today and realizing after an entire year of using this NAS that my 10gbit SFP+ NIC has only been running at PCIe 1x speeds for some reason, meaning ive only been getting 3gbit/s max through put out of this thing the entire time ive been using it and didnt notice
