I don't understand why I see things so differently. I see a health insurance industry that thinks it's entitled to charge people 1/3rd of their income for healthcare. That industry shouldn't be "fixed." It should be burned to the ground and its ashes pissed on.

I actually don’t think the Dem spin on who did the shutdown is necessary because it is probably a good idea to try to limit government functions if you think the ruling party is doing accelerated fascism

Canada Post “lost” 1 billion dollars last year?
How about, “it cost Canadians 1 billion dollars to have a national postal service” which works out to costing about $25 a year per person (population of Canada in 2024 = 40 million). Seems like a pretty reasonable cost to me.
