I don't want to spoil my Top 10 Films of 2024 list for anyone but I will say this: there is only one film I've seen twice at the cinema this year, and it's Sean Baker's ANORA. It also happens to still be in UK cinemas and if you haven't seen it, I highly recommend you do.

I saw this film and Gaspar Noé's CLIMAX back-to-back at the Prince Charles in Leicester Square one afternoon and my brain has never been quite right since.

Bluesky seems nice so far, but I wonder how long that can last? According to the Verge, their moderation team had to deal with 42,000 reports in the space of 24 hours recently, versus 360,000 for all of 2023. As of August they had a team of 221. Seems. . . ambitious.
