Thanks! I'm glad we're talking about writer's block. I don't always recognize it for what it is when I have it. Thinking through things helps. I live near the ocean in New England, and when it's nice outside I like to walk on the beach to think through plot bunnies. The change of scenery helps.

I had not thought of it that way. Half the time when I have writer's block I don't know what it is. I sometimes think I'm just depressed. I'm not. I'll think about the type of writer's block I have to see what's causing it. Thanks! #WeeknightWriters

Thanks! It's for a pro market, and if I get in I'll do the Happy Dance. 😃 It'll be my first pro sale, too. Keeping my fingers crossed. #WeeknightWriters

The not panicking is important for me. I ran out of space, but I also wanted to mention not despairing. It's easy to fall down that rabbit hole. #WeeknightWriters

Thanks! I find distracting my mind works best. I get out of that loop. #WeeknightWriters

For me, it's mainly boredom. I don't like what I've written, and I get bored with it so I put it on the back burner. Writing is also a very lonely endeavor so it's easy to get discouraged when you don't get as much feedback as you'd like. #WeeknightWriters

Are there many types of writer's block? I used to not get it, but over the past two years I've been experiencing it more often. I don't know why. Not yet, anyway.

A4: You're welcome! It's so nice to drop in on a chat and the last comment is 1 minute ago rather than 1 year ago. 😆

A2: Thanks! I like doing these interviews. I get to talk to writers I've admired for decades. Here's the one with Bruce Campbell.
