Mary Poppins, a beautiful story where a nanny and some parkouring chimney sweeps teach children, through the medium of witchcraft, about CLASS WAR.

Since we’re talking about how much billionaires suck again, here’s a reminder that your local indie bookstore deserves your business this holiday season. They have gift cards and are happy to mail stuff out. Same goes for @bookshop-org.bsky.social. Buy books. Give books. Support bookstores.

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do;
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too.
Imagine all the people
Livin' life in peace.
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one.
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one.

We often stop & wonder “what will things be like a year from now?” And we hope it will be better. We believe it will definitely be better. Has to be. Surely.
This time last year I kept thinking This Time Next Year Everything Will Be Better.
But it’s not. It’s not better. It’s still so so sad.

Life is short. Write that novel. Paint that painting. Try new recipes. Learn black magic. Go into the forest at night. Summon a demon. Earn that demon's trust. Become best friends with it. Brag to everyone else about your new cool demon best friend. Knit that sweater.
