Sad to report that our dear boy Wombat, the handsome lad, the goose, the eater of green beans, has left us. He was a comedian and a friend, a creature of uncommon beauty and joyful, affectionate mischief. We miss him very much.

Harrowing, engrossing, reported and presented with deep care for the details. The overworked term that’s necessary here is “eye-opening.” Hard to overstate how good @sarahweinman.com’s “Without Consent” is.

Been meaning to post this for a few days: I finally picked up “Hounds of Love” from the 33 1/3 series by @leahkardos.bsky.social. It’s a marvelous companion to the record, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. 1/
