Very happy that I finally tracked down the cause of my "sound coming out of only one speaker" problem I've had for years. Nothing broken but replugging the 3.5mm audio cable out of my HDMI splitter did the trick. Almost bought a sound bar that I didn't need! 🥰

I was guardian to a cousin who got the measles at age 5 and it became encephalitis. She lived the rest of her life (70+ years) in an institution, non verbal, li ited movement, and with the mental age of a toddler. Don't fuck with the measles.

I’d say that @stephencolbert.bsky.social is (with the lone exception of @maddow.msnbc.com) the most brilliant, humane person I’ve encountered in broadcasting. His mind works faster than anyone else’s at a level of sophistication that is unmatchable. Genuinely a generational talent.
