Sunday morning walk by the river and pumpkin field. We saw hundreds of ducks across the sky, a young eagle in a tree along the Tolt, a kingfisher on a telephone wire, two flickers in a tree, these noisy cowbirds.

Here’s momma & baby Mountain Goat from Glacier National Park for #stunday. Momma just wanted a nap, but baby was not about that life. This was the first time I’d ever seen a mountain goat. One constant in all these national park trips - I had no idea about the diversity of wildlife in this country

Ending NOAA’s partnership with the Alaska Earthquake Center means fewer seismic stations and slower, less accurate tsunami warnings for Alaska, Hawaiʻi, and the West Coast.
