RIP Peter David. Your work was a constant inspiration to me. As a young kid who had a hard go with friendships, trust, and emotions, it was pretty easy to identify with your thoughtful and nuanced take on THE INCREDIBLE HULK.

Awwww, my first R-rated movie in theaters. And even though there have been many imitators (and maybe a few inspirations), no one has done the elevator action sequence better.
30 years ago today DIE HARD WITH A VENGEANCE was released in theaters unleashing John McClane on NYC in one of the biggest box office hits of 1995 & arguably the best Die Hard sequel. It features an excellent return to form for John McTiernan as well as a classic buddy cop pairing of Willis & SLJ.
