I met Peter David in the waning hours of LA Comic-Con. Told him how much his stories meant to me and inspired me. He told me how the artist I loved the most on his Hulk run actually tried to get him fired. Then I asked if he would take a pic with me in front of a Hulk statue and he happily obliged
