I rescued Beryl from a box of decorations at work after Christmas and we are having the best time giving her different looks. She’s gone full bougie today ready for cockyTs and some retail therapy with the gurrrrls.

Not a word about the victims.
Not a word about the homeless.
Not a word about the heroic firefighters.
Not a word about the help from neighbouring countries.

Just division and disinformation.

Unfit for office.

Question for my Welsh/ Welsh border friends.

We’re looking at areas for a (hopeful) move in a couple of years.

We’ll be scoping out Shrewsbury, Harlech, Bala, Wrecsam & Oswestry this year.

Which other areas should we consider and what’s the best thing about living there? Thank you! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🏠

I’ve put a lot of energy into Threads of late and as usual, a billionaire has let me down.

Sigh.

I hope his mother is proud.

Thinking of the California firefighters and the demands upon them. Wildfires in January is incomprehensible and proves again why we cannot ignore climate change.

Hoping my Californian friends are safe and sound.

And so we move into the next phase of reality’s Squid Game: the end of fact-checking. From now on, what happened, what you think happened, and what you wanted to have happened, are all of equal value. Other than people getting killed, what could possibly go wrong? www.theguardian.com/technology/2...

Meta’s decision to scrap its third-party fact-checking and to loosen content moderation has been labelled ‘chilling’ and could have ‘dire consequences’ for online safety, experts and campaigners have said https://buff.ly/4japWG7

Right-wing attacks singling out Sadiq Kahn - who is obviously & demonstrably an exceptionally popular mayor as far as Londoners are concerned - are so blatantly Islamophobic & racist that we don't even say it anymore.

But we should say it. It isn't normal.

Crazy that we hear about Train Drivers who get £60,000 a year for driving a train.

But we never hear about the boss of Tesco who gets £30,000 a day and doesn't even pay tax in the UK.

Or the £250m a day that the likes of Amazon, Vodafone, BP and Shell don't pay in tax.

Working at home today and I am so damned cold despite being next to a radiator. I’ve also got a sniffle. This isn’t boding well for later and the next few days…

Share your instant fixes or weird treatments for colds please. 🥶

Yes, farmers have been stitched up - but not by inheritance tax
These protests have picked the wrong cause. Brexit is what they should be angriest about

Very noble of Jeremy Clarkson to support the farmers protest. Nothing to do with having
spent £4.25m on a farm to avoid paying inheritance tax.
