And as well as making cheese and butter in the dairy, there is a brewhouse, bakers, Tudor kitchen in the house cooking for the gentry and Sottlers cooking potage outside for the workers on the manor

Please do. We have a lot of fun! The Tudor events at kentwell run at Easter, mayday, end of June (2 weekends) and a long event in August. Plus Michaelmas in September.

But we will be making the very first butter and cheese of the year. Late Easter means cows will have calved, giving us the first cream. Hand churning when it is chilly really does take forever though - it has been known to take the whole day.
