Tudor reenactment at Kentwell Hall in Suffolk - mostly in the dairy. Investigating and creating dairy practices, equipment and related issues of the 16th century.
But we will be making the very first butter and cheese of the year. Late Easter means cows will have calved, giving us the first cream. Hand churning when it is chilly really does take forever though - it has been known to take the whole day.
