As of today I no longer have to take medication for high blood pressure. My life pressure remains high, but at least I’ve got my blood dialed in.

My blood pressure has been low lately but I think that's because I don't put a lot of demands on my blood. I just let it be who it is.

Did my usual hike up to Verdugo Peak. I’ve lost 20 pounds since the summer. This is the first photo where I can really see a difference. I can certainly feel the difference especially in my joints.

I am once again unemployed thanks to a surprise layoff. I think this is the 7th time this has happened to me now over my entire work history. There is no stability. There is no “picking the right career.” So fuck it, bank robber it is.

When I was a kid there was a restaurant up at Universal called Victoria Station. The whole theme was Victorian era trains. You even had to ride this special train car to get to it. Going there was a big night out for our family. I always thought it was a place only people in SoCal knew about.

Went for an exploratory hike today. Wondered if after going from Stough Canyon up to Verdugo Peak if I could connect over to Tongva Peak. The answer is yes, but it’s further than you think. Did a couple of side quests too and I am beat.
