It’s been too many years between seasons to come back this soft and exposition heavy.

This new season. Oof.

As much as I love it as a comedy, the script paints the story and the characters much more dramatically. The scene where Neal confronts Del in the train station and Del reveals why he has no home is heartbreaking.

Feels like it should be a stoner / doom album cover.

Check out Coachwhips, that was his first band. Also anything with in the Ty Segall multiverse. I'm big into Fuzz and Primitive Ring right now.

Well they do keep changing their name and have several different "eras" so it's a confusing band to follow but worth it.

Next time I'm heading downtown will be for the Osees show on the 29th.

It was a unique mix of people for sure. Some punks, some hippies, some wild other category. The guy who said the “vibes” quote was maybe 30 and going on and on about startups and their “culture.” I kept thinking he might be at the wrong show.
