Late breakfast: banana porridge. (Late because I have recently started intermittent fasting and actually didn’t notice the eating period had begun until just now. I have to say I find it easier than cutting out particular foods or calorie counting and I’m not doing anything extreme.)

When I went to the Philip Hoare talk recently, he said he’d originally set out to write about GMH and was about halfway through when he realised the book he *needed* to write was actually about William Blake, that everything kept bringing him back to Blake.
