Great explanatory thread about the new CPS guidance on "sex by deception". The key is, it's hard to know whether or not someone else knows you're trans, and many trans people just don't talk about it much, or at all. Not to mention, this adds a whole legal layer of risk to gloryholes and darkrooms.
This incidentally is why I am always wary of "stranger danger" stuff posing as feminist: Bc when you imagine "A strange man in an alley" you picture him as unalike the men you know as possible- Which often means if you're white, the man you see as the danger, is a man of colour. It gets racist fast.
It's old feminist rhetoric that the home and family are places of incredible violence for women and children.

The UK continues to quietly force trans adults to detransition. It was never about trans youth. Doctors in the UK are withdrawing hormones without warning and cutting tags people off even after decades of being on HRT.
