Late April snow in the LA County mountains? Yes please.

Second stop was the last snow tubing session at Snow Valley. I think this counts as us making closing day at 3 SoCal resorts (Mountain High, Snow Valley, and Snow Summit) including two in one day 😉

We made a lot of progress this year! Summit has some good long runs and the views of the lake are great. You can also see why it’s colder at night here in summer (shallow valley like a saucer) than Wrightwood (open to the free air above the Mojave Desert).

A two for one today, with first stop at Snow Summit. Haven’t been over there in quite some time!

Found some of the jade-like rock from the glowing green band of Sheep Canyon

Well it’s the end of March in a low snow year for Wrightwood. We were kind of spoiled the last two. Everyone had fun though!!

Ended up in Sheep Canyon, a place I’ll never complain about going :)
