1. This week, news emerged that former trans athlete, student at Middlebury, and advocate for trans rights, Lia Smith, was found dead.
Her death was ruled a suicide.
But I argue that it's not only a suicide. Every trans suicide is a murder by those in power.

Just witnessed someone trying to fireb*mb Fletcher’s Ice Cream in NE. Saw a dude acting weird next to a parked car in front of the place. I walked by, heard a smash through my earbuds, smelled gasoline/kerosine. Turned around, snapped some photos instinctively. Thankfully they suck at molot*vs.

It is liberating to be trans.
Transitioning helped me heal from the physical abuse that my body had endured. Being on hormones gave me agency over my own body.
