1/2 My Absent Voting Bill has now received Royal Assent and become law, the first Private Member’s Bill of this Parliament! It means it can be used in the Scottish and Welsh elections next year, which feels like a such an achievement.

This morning we begin the final Commons debate on the Assisted Dying Bill before it moves to the Lords. I support the bill in principle, but I am keeping an eye on any amendments that are passed. so I’ll keep constituents updated as it develops. An update from me. 👇
