1/2 My Absent Voting Bill has now received Royal Assent and become law, the first Private Member’s Bill of this Parliament! It means it can be used in the Scottish and Welsh elections next year, which feels like a such an achievement.

I am very pleased that after a lengthy process the Berwick Bank Offshore Wind Farm has received its consent, allowing the project to proceed. Once fully delivered it will be the largest floating offshore wind farm and has significant economic opportunities for Edinburgh (1/3)
