Three things that a worker who has just experienced a violent incident need to hear:

1) Are you okay?
2) I’m so sorry that this happened to you.
3) What can I do to help?

You’ll note that “What did you do to cause this?” is not on this list.

The government of Canada and Ontario should ensure N95’s are used at all times in healthcare settings to protect patients and healthcare workers.

This is bonkers!🤪 Utterly bonkers!
The PPE supply in the provincial stock pile should rotate into the hospital, clinics and nursing home supply chain so it gets used up.
Discarding $1.4 billion worth of supplies paid for with tax payers’ hard earned money is disgraceful.

The sheer dedication to avoiding any mention of COVID when talking about things that we know for certain are heavily impacted by COVID is...impressive.

The "after pandemic" bit is a red flag too - someone's either not keeping up, or deliberately trying to manipulate the narrative.

But acknowledging Covid as a huge factor would mean admitting that *gasp* Covid actually does affect kids!
CBC has been absolutely complicit in pushing mass infection and downplaying the damage done.
There is no such thing as an intelligent report on increasing school absences due to chronic illness and mental health issues that does not lead with a discussion of the out-of-control virus that causes chronic illness and mental health issues.

@cbcnews.ca has seriously weird biases about COVID. 🙄

Yes, school refusal due to bullying and/or mental health issues absolutely should be covered (I had a period of school refusal, so I get it.) But it's a bit bizarre that there is no mention in this increased school absences story of the recently introduced virus that kids get regularly now.
