[ttrpg that doesn't know if it's for collaborative storytelling or if it's a crunchy dungeon crawler] remember to grant xp for social encounters, i.e. if you've rolled to converse at some point. some jobs have the converse skill, but for balance reasons it can never prevent a fight

I think it's fascinating that "Nonbinary genders aren't real" and "nonbinary is a distinct group from binary trans people and therefore research on binary trans people's gender-affirming care is inapplicable for nonbinary people who experience dysphoria" are positions held by the same people

One thing I really get bored with in pop-science is the obsession with "woaaah are imaginary numbers real or not??" cause like
NUMBERS aren't real. Stuff that shares the properties of various mathematical constructs is. Some stuff's behavior can be represented nicely with complex numbers. Done.
