Anyways, I've been working on this cross stitch—a screenshot from Dragon Age Inquisition—since AUGUST. Sometimes making things, being creative, takes time. As it well should. It's not a process that should be rushed through with the environment-destroying slop machine.

Bluesky seems determined to censor my profile pictures/header every year or every time I have more activity? How many times do i need to make the SAME appeal for the same pictures? each time they get approved and EVERY TIME after a while we're back to square one. I DIDNT POST ANY SEX, this is a JOKE

So, he's pushing for AI, even though isn't helping at all, because of the possibility, that maybe, somehow, possibly, they will find a great use for it that no one has found yet? Or I'm missing something?

Creativity is a process not a product. Ironically, it does impact the quality of your product. Personally, I value both concept and craft. Using AI as reference is not the same as searching for a reference because it cuts short the contemplation part.

My brain still gets hooked on individual pieces of concept art from #DragonAge or #MassEffect, because they weren't just a Cool Image for the sake of cool imagery: they were an additional window into the world of the game, created by someone who understood how that world could grow.
The fact that the games industry is so dead-set on disregarding Concept Art as being part of the game it helps make is eternally frustrating to me.
If the slop machine extrudes a design for you that you then force an artist to make "real", that still means there's AI generated content in the game.

Similarly: I worked at a grocery store with a mandatory semi-formal dress code, and I remember management rejecting changes to said dress code for any reason because "people liked it".
They weren't the ones pushing shopping carts on 100 degree sunny days. In dress shoes, with black pants & ties.
