I kind of feel that way but I think that’s just because the DLC leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I still remember the base game very fondly.

Audio tended to get desynced during cutscenes, especially long ones. The end of chapter 12 was the biggest example of this.

City Trial is peak, though the experience of actually getting into a game was pretty annoying at times. I don’t particularly care for Air Ride from what I’ve played. Hopefully I’ll find more to enjoy in the final game.

XDE's battle simulator and with 3's training drills returning would definitely be helpful for a lot of people.

Oh yeah, looks like that’s a texture pack. I think the remake from that video isn’t something the creator plans to release.

I believe that‘s just a proof of concept or a personal project, but it’s definitely really cool

The scene of Sylux floating in the air seems to be part of some early to mid-game encounter, similar to some of the Dark Samus fights from Prime 2. If it is a late game thing, maybe they shouldn’t be showing it at all.

I don’t think that’s what Jon is trying to say. Reviews that are more critical, or that are written by non-fans are definitely valuable. Ultimately, this one in particular is spiteful and dismissive, which I don’t find to be valuable.

They did show a cutscene fight with Raven Beak in an early trailer for Dread. With Sylux, the most interesting thing he’s done has been shooting a thing and then getting knocked down by Samus.

Even the people who did play Hunters don’t really know who he is, so I don’t think that’s much of a problem. They just aren’t hyping him up in any way.

DX on PC with mods to fix it/make it more like the Dreamcast version. It actually wasn’t all that jank, but there were a few times where I clipped through a wall or the camera didn’t want to work with me.
