I don't normally write about my work (veterinary medicine). Two of my patients from today may not make it. Love on your critters. One of the pet's owners has no money. We are donating services and setting up a payment plan for the rest. If inclined, donate to pets. It helps them and their humans.

To all the people being targeted by Trump, I don't care if you are an immigrant, a MMuslim, person of color, trans, etc. You matter. I hope, if you're American, that you stay safe and that in the future, Americans do better.

This is worth sharing far and wide. A hotline to help immigrants move their cases online, to protect them from ICE. "The hotline is available for use by anyone, anywhere, and may be reached at 888-462-5211. Services are available in both English and Spanish."

RIP Tippy. I rescued this amazing, spirited piggy when she was a sickly baby. Because of her health issues, she was a solo guinea pig. As a result, I made a huge point of playing and cuddling with her. She got so much time out of the cage. She was highly opinionated and nicknamed,"Rage Rat".

I work in vet med. Just like us, dogs are used to cooler days and Spring brings heat stroke. Yesterday, my idiot dog had a minor case, even though it was only 80F/27C and I kept the walk short. He just got too excited. My training kept him safe. If you want to know what to do, use the link.
