The time to fight was right out of the gate in 2020 when the Biden admin gained control. Merrick Garland (among others) FAFO'd us. To my thinking, many people blundered and acted like all was normal again. It wasn't. We may be beyond repair. What country will fall to far-Right extremism next?

Literally, the same propaganda machine that ushered MAGAism into the US has been working on Canada too. Canada isn't the only other country being meddled with either, look at what's happening to democracies across Europe.

If you think only billionaires can control social media, You are absolutely wrong. Social media is completely dependent on its users. Think about why you do or did use FB, ThreadsTik tok or Twitter. It's because they have enough users. Take away all the "normies" and they all are worthless

1. The conventional explanation for food deserts—that these places are too poor or too rural to generate enough spending on groceries, or too Black to overcome racist corporate redlining — fail to grapple with a key fact: food deserts didn’t used to exist. My new piece in The Atlantic.

Whelp, if England's following the same bought and paid path of the US it is not a good sign for the world at all.
A terifying possibility we need to be ready to fight back against. Part of that fight back will include making @bsky.app the biggest social media platform in the world. We CAN do it

People! It's not going to be just four years! They don't plan on ever giving up power. The sooner your brains absorb this reality, the sooner we might be able to course correct. It's not going to be pretty.
People really need to banish thoughts of “maybe it won’t be so bad!” from their minds. At least for now. Strategically, this must be a time of preparation, not wishful thinking.

The Biden admin came out of the gates acting like it was all just another normal election cycle & playing by rules that were no longer honored by the Right/Red side of the aisle. Garland & DOJ failed us. Biden failed us because he did nothing to protect us from what's happening now.😓
Isn’t it funny how the U.S. media is suddenly posting stories about the improving inflation picture now that the election is over? 🧐

So... 🤔 if people are buying less stuff because they are paying more for their necessities, that's good for the economy? 🤦🏼‍♀️
".. During a radio interview Saturday .., Bessent said 'tariffs can’t be inflationary because if the price of one thing goes up -- unless you give people more money -- then they have less money to spend on the other thing, so there is no inflation.'"
