Aside from the obvious direct harm, what's so irritating is that a handful of spoiled ignorant assholes are breaking things that we all built together. They weren't content to own almost everything, they had to wreck what little they didn't own. It's vandalism on a mass scale and has to be punished

The Australian government should organise something symbolic with Canada/Australian relations and do it quickly to send another message. The problem is we already have robust free trade and easy visa agreements. Maybe something on ease of workforce flows and simplified reciprocal tax arrangements?

Imagine if all the ABC AM/FM broadcast towers were on foreign land. Or all the 7/9/10 TV transmitters were in international waters broadcasting into Australia.
