She warned us all. Nobody wanted to listen. She was right about all of it. He’s even more unhinged than we imagined. We could be just living our peaceful lives right now.

But, no.

I don't want to join the lynch party for Samuel Montembeault this morning but I think Martin St. Louis is out of options. Jakub Dobes has to get the majority of starts, at least until the Olympic break.
The Habs have been extremely patient with Montembeault but there's a limit and Boston was it.

Lane Hutson was back in Montreal today playing shinny hockey in NDG.

Rob Reiner made some great movies but he was also unafraid to speak the truth, and was one of the public voices who knew you don’t squander your platform, and only got louder about opposing evil fucks as he got older. Legend.

Everyone is down on Patrick Laine but the Habs could have used him last night.
At least he'll shoot the goddamned puck.

My column on a shambolic night for the officials who robbed the Habs of a win in Edmonton - and a goalie who failed to halt the Oilers momentum.

Todd: Canadiens watch win slip away on botched calls, suspect net work
While dreadful refs had huge impact on Oilers' comeback, Samuel Montembeault came up short when a big save could have stopped the bleeding.

I was born in the USA, grew up there, lived and worked almost 30 years there.
I'm so bloody sick of the US and its madness. It's an insane nation - violent, intolerant, dishonest, psychotic, racist, sexist, militaristic, convinced it's the greatest country in the world.
It isn't even close.

So after the idiotic trades that sent Pascal Siakam and O.G. Anunoby, the Raptors complete theAfrican purge by stabbing Masai Ujiri in the back.
Much the same as the Blue Jays dealt with Alex Anthopoulos.
Boardroom poltics in Toronto sports is vicious and counter-productive.

Canada welcomes the U.S. Court of International Trade’s decision on the United States’ tariffs.

It confirmed what we’ve always held: that the American tariffs against Canadian goods are unlawful and unjustified.

The portion of TSN's Sportscenter I saw this morning ended with a 10-minute video elegy to the Leafs.
The Winnipeg Jets also bowed out and they actually won something this season (the cursed President's Trophy) but I don't recall them getting even a two-minute clip.
