A couple of days ago, I succumbed to 'The Lurgy'.
However, being a tough, fully vaccinated, irascible, old git, I appear to have beaten it into submission with paracetamol and Baileys !
I'm back to 90% functionality. for now.

FAST helps fill the gap between an ambulance being called and its arrival.

Yesterday was Remembrance Sunday, and just as in my every previous year for over 70 years, I attended the local Remembrance Service held in our local memorial garden. Much praying & singing of hymns ensured, but not by me.
I'm an atheist.
I feel the loss of so many lives just as much.

Well, the revised rapture date (7th & 8th October - because of confusion with the Julian & Gregorian calendar) has passed and I'm still here and so is everyone else I know.

I've been using the AVG anti-virus and utility suite for years on some of my systems. I got a renewal notification today. I decided that I no longer need it, so I cancelled my subscription. I immediately got an offer to renew at HALF the cost !
That stinks !
