Yesterday was Remembrance Sunday, and just as in my every previous year for over 70 years, I attended the local Remembrance Service held in our local memorial garden. Much praying & singing of hymns ensured, but not by me.
I'm an atheist.
I feel the loss of so many lives just as much.
Perhaps more.

I've been using the AVG anti-virus and utility suite for years on some of my systems. I got a renewal notification today. I decided that I no longer need it, so I cancelled my subscription. I immediately got an offer to renew at HALF the cost !
That stinks !
My cancellation stands.

Following the sad loss of our two dogs a couple of weeks ago, we're fostering this little guy. He weighs just 6 kg. He was abandoned by whoever had him and rescued by a local animal charity.
He's very sweet. Maybe we'll keep him.

Yesterday morning, Casey left our world, after being a fun companion for 13 years. We grieve.
I wish to commend the Vets at HAPPY PETS with particular emphasis on Maria and Pedro, who have lavished outstanding care and love on Casey for past the 6 years that we have been in Camposol.

I was on the UK telly on Thursday 16-1-2025. In a programme called 'Bargain Loving Brits in The Sun' on CH 5.
They did a segment on our volunteer First Responder group.
Usually the programme is a bit of a piss take, but they were quite decent about us.
