got a raise at work but i'm getting increasingly uncomfortable with the field i work in. i think in some sense it's comparable to insurance. at first glance it's fine but as you think about people who got denied insurance payouts, you start feeling yucky.

why are local libraries so bad at marketing ugh
i got an email today about a really cool lecture about contemporary chinese art and i clicked the link to sign up only to find out that it was held two hours ago!!! maybe try notifying the public about your events at least a week in advance???

update: made places with a cousin from another city to travel by bus together but it'll be a 20+ hour ride and a 6 hour train ride to that city so pls pray for my back and neck
noo i waited too long to buy a ticket home for the holidays and now train tickets are all gone and plane tickets cost like a kidney
