Saw this in the grocery store earlier today, and when I did two very distinct things happened:

1) I heard the sickest guitar riff ever played on this or any other planet

2) I got instant heartburn

At the 100th anniversary of the Jamestown High School Acapella Choir Vespers concert. There are over 400 alumni singing along with the choir this year. I was in 02-05, and both my siblings were in it at one point as well as my mom and aunt. They're both gone now, so I'm here for them.

A broken oven means you get creative (and get to buy new toys). Here's this year's dry brined, smoked turkey. A truly delicious experiment

At #SheasBuffalo with the missus to see "& Juliet", a meta musical about Shakespeare and his wife rewriting the ending of the original play. It's been a blast so far. A pop musical with songs from the late 90s-mid 00s. Fun set, great cast, and a level of cheese they really lean into.

Name a show you're positive no one remembers but you

2. Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. One of the best meta horror movies ever, and made on a shoestring budget. The comedic moments elevate the horror moments, and I love the world building this film manages to do in 92 minutes. Nathan Baesel is phenomenal as would-be killer Leslie Vernon

1. Zoolander. When I die, a DVD copy of this will be in the casket with me. My wife and I quote it daily, and it never fails to put me in a good mood.

Gave Poppy her first bath with us tonight. We've learned that Poppy doesn't care for being wet and wants to be hugged while bathing. We've also learned that the blow dryer is in fact a demon

Got into a deep dive re: Roger Corman tonight with a co-worker while at our annual convention, and it made me want to shout out my favorite character actor. Here's to Dick Miller, Corman staple and the man of a thousand roles!
