This was supposed to be a bacon cheeseburger, but @sonic forgot the burger. As @stevelackmeyer.bsky.social says no company has ever been made better after being purchased by private equity. And when I asked for a refund, they couldn’t figure out how much I paid, plus tip. I simply walked away.

What's the latest in the impending doom of layoffs at Tinker? Anybody keeping score?
I'll go ahead and say that the "This Is Topeka" article announcing 600 layoffs at Tinker AFB this morning has credibility issues. We're working to verify the claims as we continue to report on the mass firings, but here are some reasons to scrutinize the story before reposting it as truth:

The Oklahoman just updated their iOS app and it’s all but unusable. I was ready to cancel our virtual subscription, but then discovered that the previous app wasn’t deleted! I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that happen, but with the previous version still usable, I’ll hang in a little longer…
