it's bad when someone uses normal legislative processes to restrict rights and threaten the health of the vulnerable and if your argument is that at least a legislator used legislation to do it instead of by fiat then you're arguing process outcome matters to the exclusion of policy harms.
And if you refuse to give someone credit for standing for liberal democracy just because they don’t agree with your policy preferences, you’re missing the big picture. www.thebulwark.com/p/why-marjor...

This is not hard. Artists are not responsible for ensuring the Kennedy Center remains relevant and successful. The center’s board is responsible for that, in a fiduciary way. All of this energy being directed at artists should be re-directed at the board.

USPS quietly changed its postmark rules — mail is no longer dated when you drop it off. The “official” date is when it hits automated sorting — sometimes days later

Which could have major implications for mail in voting — it’s a clever way to disenfranchise voters that’s going largely overlooked

it’s amazing how Crooked Media pretended to fire Tim Miller for like five minutes after it was revealed he was a PR hatchet man for Meta, who tried to tie criticism of the company to George Soros.

Finally getting the hang of the Hollow map in nightreign. Only part that is still a pain in the ass is getting to the top half of the map from the bottom half quickly.

sorry, what i should've said instead was some mealymouthed liberal bullshit like "some people in a democracy may find you to be below dirt. it is beautiful that we live in america and that sometimes means believing dirt is 1000 times more valuable than the editor of The Bulwark"
