ICYMI, this is one of the best things I wrote last year, it's the most amazing music, but it's bittersweet because it demonstrates how racially segregated UK club music is lately - HOW can the best music be so fenced off like this? this stuff deserves to be as big and multicultural as UK garage was

As someone who was lucky enough to go on a school trip to Germany at 15 years old, which included a day trip to Sachsenhausen, the sheer thought of anyone using such a trip to posture and not being deeply affected by it is truly disgusting

Pretty late but this Ab Soul album is sick! Sampling Soul II Soul AND Mobb Deep on your intro (and it slapping) is defo a signal of intent. TDE (and their alumni) had a great 2024
