I simply don't believe this:

"77% of Gen Z have brought a parent to a job interview"

Can any Gen Z on BlueSky confirm/deny this is true (in their own experience)

77% of Gen Z job seekers have brought a parent to an interview—they're even getting them to negotiate pay rises and take their hiring tests | Fortune
Gen Z job seekers are pulling up an extra chair for their Gen X and boomer parents—not just for job interviews, but also to help write resumes, negotiate salaries, and solve workplace conflicts.

When drawn this way, you can see clearly the huge loss of retail jobs in the past 7 years.

Retail has lost almost 400,000 jobs in the last decade. And business rates are at the centre of the problem.

Trump could rebrand it the "Department of Peow Peow Peow", and I still wouldn't be surprised.

Despite my passport having nine months to run before expiry, I was blocked from flying to Sweden at the airport gate because my passport issue date is over 10 years ago. I guess another one of those sunny uplands of Brexit....

For anyone with an old passport, check the issue date

There needs to be a real conversation about service charges in London hospitality. Why are restaurants making customers directly pay staff through 12.5% service charges? Just pay your staff properly and adjust the price appropriately.

Corruption at the heart of London's retail district?

A small number of businesses around Piccadilly Circus appear to be "phoenixing" - whereby every time it comes to pay taxes, the owners are replaced, depriving local and national government of millions.

Top tips for Ebayers selling board games. If you're going to use AI for your pictures:
- Don't use a picture of three year old for a game with a 12+ age recommendation (and a smart 12 year old at that).
- Don't shrink the board game to about 1/8th actual size
- Don't charge £100 for a £50 game
