"Dave, did you write the copy for the new parchment paper product"

"Yup"

"Did you get weird about birds again?"

When drawn this way, you can see clearly the huge loss of retail jobs in the past 7 years.

Retail has lost almost 400,000 jobs in the last decade. And business rates are at the centre of the problem.

Trump could rebrand it the "Department of Peow Peow Peow", and I still wouldn't be surprised.

Top tips for Ebayers selling board games. If you're going to use AI for your pictures:
- Don't use a picture of three year old for a game with a 12+ age recommendation (and a smart 12 year old at that).
- Don't shrink the board game to about 1/8th actual size
- Don't charge £100 for a £50 game

PC gamer here. Can someone explain what the hell a "digital edition" of a console is, as opposed to the "physical edition"?

Reminds me of those old spam adverts that promised to let you "download more ram for your PC".

This is creepy at best and abusive at worst.

It is the words of a high school bully coming directly from the world's most powerful nation.

Today it is tariffs, but if I was from Greenland, Panama, Canada, or Gaza, I'd be thinking about what this sentiment means tomorrow.

If you want an idea of what the UK and US trade with each other (and will be impacted by tariffs) - I recommend the OEC website:

If you want a clear understanding of what's happening to retail jobs - this graph shows the last seven years of retail employment each quarter.

312,000 retail jobs have been lost over this period. Most of which are part-time. The NIC's rise will make this much worse!

It's 6am and I'm ready for the first of a handful of interviews about the rising challenge posed by retail crime.

With over 2000 incidents of violence or abuse per day, this is an issue which must come onto the government's radar.

Wish me luck for BBC Breakfast

Honestly, Allister Heath's column in the Telegraph reads like satire. I mean who does this Starmer think he is caring about people's human rights and the survival of the planet we live on...
