US Rep. Jeff Hurd, of Grand Junction, tells me he likes a lot of what he sees from DOGE-- especially cuts to DEI programs. Meanwhile, Hurd can't say how many federal workers have lost or left their jobs in his district, but there are some he wishes hadn't.
