The correct way to ensure accessibility here is to make sure these people who have to walk farther - 300, 400, 500 meters - can do so safely, quickly (no super-long light cycles) and on a path that's accessible to people with mobility aids.

Would that even help? Haven't seen the data, but I would expect that those driving it are specifically European, and that this is driven by the radical fall in air travel costs.
