Super Sentai is ENDING!

But why?

I sat down with @ericfrancisco24.bsky.social and @mhwilliams.bsky.social for Tokusatsu Now to discuss all the potential reasons, and theorize on what could be replacing it.

When it comes to Steam Machine pricing, I personally feel like you’d have more luck throwing a dart at a dartboard of numbers than trying to actually figure it out based on any kind of precedence or “market” factors. The instability is off the charts folks.

This clip is emblematic of every facet of the current state of consumerism that is trying to shove as much bullshit down our throats as fast as possible while capitalizing on our complete lack of a shared, true reality.

I think the answer to this is simple; Sony went from being the “underdog” in the PS3 generation to then not only taking Xbox’s lunch, but also beating it to a pulp almost from the jump of the PS4 launch. The PS5 just feels like an extension of the PS4, and therefore, a lot less exciting.
Whenever I chat to anyone about the PS5's life so far, am I typically met with a waft of lukewarm praise or shrug of plain ambivalence? Why hasn't it captivated people - at least me - in the way the PS4 did? https://bit.ly/3LCEQZu

What's really ironic about this whole new gaming landscape is Valve is making bespoke hardware and Xbox's new strategy seems as scattershot and underbaked as the original Steam Machines.
November 12, 2025 at 10:11 PM
I believe that Valve replacing Xbox as the third pillar of the "big three" has less to do with the company's desire to push itself into that role and more to do with how much Xbox continues to shoot itself in the foot, considering this retail divide is lessened the more retailers that drop Xbox.
The very important thing to remember when talking Valve and its ceiling compared to, say, Microsoft, is that you can not walk into a Walmart and buy a Steam Deck. You have to be enough of an enthusiast to know what it is and where to find it. That's the #1 thing holding Valve back.

The Hunt For James Bond (dir. Steven Soderbergh)
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

The nice thing about hope is it ends up being somewhat of a self-fulfilling prophecy. When you have it, even the smallest amount, it can have a profound, positive impact on the energy you put out into the world, which fuels the hope other people have, feeding back into your own pool.
