LUFC fan, Bielsa apostle, aspiring painter. Used to have other interests but then I had kids instead.
I don’t begrudge the job Farke has to do, the dice is loaded from a PSR point of view, but I need to know the manager is giving us the best possible chance. These team selections can’t be accepted. The game management can’t be accepted. We’re being set up for competitive defeats every week. #lufc

This is my sentiment. I’ve stuck by him but I can’t make excuses for him if that line up loses his job. You need to have resilient ideas as a manager, but there’s resilient and then there’s stubborn #lufc
I’ve kept faith with Farke all this time but playing Brenda today with a fully fit squad is mad #lufc

If he starts Aaronson instead of James or Gnonto and we don’t get a result, I will be happy to join the calls for his head #lufc
DF: "Nobody in this room supports Daniel James more than me. On my first day here, I said he will be a key player for us. I have always been asked why Solomon, Anthony or Ramazani have not played, but that's because I know what Daniel can do." #lufc

“Du du du, Wilder is a…just a great guy really, really great guy with a very forgiving nature and someone I have a lot of respect for”.

I still think we went into this season with an insolvably poor PSR position and we’re seeing the results of that. I doubt another manager improves our chances but that doesn’t necessarily mean Farke should stay. If your choice is Aaronson or Harrison, you’re not staying up. #lufc

It’s pretty clear that Farke won’t survive until January, whatever you think about him. Board were ready to do it in summer and fans are already on the turn. Question is when. Would you be inclined to let him take the City-Chelsea-Liverpool bullet before making a change? #lufc

I can be the most logical, tolerant, patient and philosophical football fan in the world after a defeat.

But also 2 successive defeats I’ll happily abandon all perspective and turn into a raving nutcase along with everyone else #lufc

Here’s where I am. The squad is DEFINITELY not good enough. Farke is possibly not good enough. We looked like a competitive prem side in the early season and Farke gets some credit for that. We don’t now, and I’m not seeing answers, so that credit is depleting.

Impotent, inflexible and disappointingly lacking in grit. On par with Arsenal for me, but with fewer excuses #lufc

Quality gap has looked bigger than other games this season. Deflating so far but pleased to be in the game at least #lufc

I see we’re trying that ‘play it out from the back regardless’ thing that worked so well at Arsenal #lufc

Well, Sunderland are staying up and fair fucks to them #lufc

Remember how you felt ahead of the Everton game? Optimism, belief, excitement. Well our odds of survival are BETTER now than they were then, and tonight we play a weaker relegation rival under the lights at Elland Road.

Get that fire in your belly roaring again, Leeds fans! #lufc

Personally, I think our nerves have been sent a wobbling by an unexpected and unfortunate result at Burnley. We’ve been better than West Ham all season, we’re at home, I expect us to get the job done. #lufc

We could have taken the Bornauw money and put that on the wings but that’s hardly going to change our fortunes. I don’t see another manager getting more from this squad. Having Gnonto, James and Okafor all out at the same time for a key match is unfortunate. Crap performance but perspective #lufc

We’ve had 2 bad results, Arsenal and yesterday. Every other game we’ve matched what we should hope for. The squad is thin. Apparently that’s because of PSR. The players we did sign look decent value for the investment level. So the question remaining is, to just ignore PSR? #lufc

This is a depleted (and under resourced) team have its worst performance of the season, but people are acting like it’s been this way every week. I’m very worried about our attacking depth, but we’d had a good start to the season before this game. #lufc

I’d honestly start Bogle at RM on Friday and let Justin have the RB slot. Speaks volumes that our limited production has come from the full backs. Harrison and Aaronson should be no where near our 11, whatever the alternatives #lufc

Really pleased with that. We’re competitive against all but the very best, the signings have elevated the standard of the side, 4 points from those two fixtures is a great return, and we into next week believing we can win. This is the PL season I was hoping for #lufc

Winning at this level is great, isn’t it. It really feels like it matters. 3 points counts for a lot more in this place, literally and figuratively. #lufc

Strongly agree with this list of names. #lufc
Darlow, Gudmundsson, Ampadu, Stach, Calvert-Lewin and Okafor all brilliant for different reasons, but big team display, especially after that horrible early concession. #lufc

Farke has given us a real crack at survival with how he’s adjusted his approach this. Pragmatic plan, executing it brilliantly. #lufc
September 20, 2025 at 3:57 PM
Darlow done everything asked of him today. Really solid. #lufc
September 20, 2025 at 3:48 PM
Wow, Bluesky #lufc are super divided on Okafor and as per, everyone seems to be setting up camp at one end of the spectrum or the other with no middle ground.
